The Daily Scrapper: Karen is the Art Director and Layout Artist Coordinator for The Daily Scrapper Online Newspaper. This publication is a bi-weekly online publication that brings you the latest news and happenings in the digital scrapbook community. Each issue includes a featured store, designer and creative team member. It includes product reviews, hybrid projects, scrapbook layouts, photo books and charity kits. This FREE publication also includes one or more free kits in each issue!
Creative Teams: Karen is blessed to be part of the Studio Crew, (site team for Scrapbookgraphics). She has been supporting the fabulous Studio Girls for 3 years now!
Published Works: Karen’s work can regularly be seen in the The Daily Scrapper Online Newspaper, and the Studio Matters Blog. She has also published in Somerset Digital Studio, The Artisan’s Notebook, SBB’s Tidbytes Ezine, and Scrapbook News & Review.
Photobook and Theme Albums: One of Karen’s goals is to help people in the scrapbook community create not just stand-alone layouts, but meaningful theme books and photos books to document the most important of life’s memories. She co-hosts the Scrapbookgraphics Photo Book 2009 challenge with Wendyzine, to help scrappers prioritize and complete at least one photobook per year. In addition, she hosts the Project 365 Challenge at Scrapbookgraphics. This fun challenge encourages people to document their daily life by taking one photo each day.
Submit It Forum: Another goal is to help digital scrapbook artists get published. She maintains a comprehensive list of Magazine Calls called the Submit-It Forum at Scrapbookgraphics. In addition, the Artistic Digitals blog contains a complete list of Scrapbook publications.
